KOUKI TAKEMORTO 竹本 こうき

Kouki Takemoto began his acupuncture journey at Kokoro Medical Welfare Vocational School in Japan, earning his national certification in 2013. He furthered his education at Japan Welfare University, obtaining degrees in Welfare Management and Acupuncture by 2015.
Kouki’s international career started in Malaysia, where he honed his skills at Meridians Japanese Healing Arts. He then expanded his expertise in New Zealand at The Body Workshop, focusing on acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine.
In 2019, Kouki joined One Spa World, practicing aboard a luxury cruise ship and treating a global clientele. His commitment to patient care led to a role as Account Manager at Vyper Global in Japan, before returning to One Spa World in 2023.
With over a decade of experience, Kouki specializes in treating a wide range of conditions, from chronic pain to stress management. His multilingual skills, including English and basic Dutch and German, enable him to connect with diverse patients worldwide.

Beyond his professional life, Kouki Takemoto is an adventurer at heart. His passion for exploration and physical challenges is reflected in his hobbies, which include rock climbing, road biking, and mountain climbing. These activities are not just pastimes for Kouki—they represent his approach to life and his career. Just as he navigates difficult climbs or challenging terrains, Kouki consistently pushes the boundaries in his professional journey, always seeking new challenges and opportunities to grow.
Kouki’s adventurous spirit has also taken him across the globe, from Asia to Oceania and beyond, where he has gained a wealth of experiences both professionally and personally. Whether it's scaling a mountain peak or treating a complex health condition, Kouki is driven by a desire to overcome obstacles and reach new heights.
As he looks forward to the next chapter of his life in the Netherlands, Kouki is excited to immerse himself in a new culture and community. He is eager to bring his extensive experience in holistic health to this new environment, where he hopes to make a positive impact.
